How to get to Kastela
Kastela is a town located on the Adriatic coast, between the city of Split and the city of Trogir. The most common way to get to Kastela is by air or by road. The closest Airport is Split Airport (which is actually in Kastela), but you can also fly to Zadar or Dubrovnik and then drive to Kastela.
There are also two E65 highway exits (Prgomet and Vučevica). Thus, Kastela Riviera is one of the best-connected vacation destinations in Croatia.

Since there are 7 settlements of Kastela you have a lot to choose from when it comes to sightseeing.
Each of the seven Kastela towns has its own historic center filled with narrow streets, old stone houses, and charming squares. Wander through these towns to soak in the local atmosphere and history.
You can visit the Vitturi castle, the place famous for the tragic love story of Miljenko and Dobrila, most people say that they are the Croatia Romeo and Julia located in Kastel Luksic.
You can enjoy the “Kastela Cultural Summer” that takes place every year from July to August. It offers you theatre shows, various exhibitions, concerts (both pop and classical), folklore manifestation, museum shows, and others.
Explore the Stomorija Nature Park: Stomorija is a protected natural area near Kastela, offering opportunities for hiking and enjoying the beautiful Mediterranean landscape. You can also visit the Stomorija Monastery located within the park.
Another good place to visit is Kastilac Fort (also known as Braavos from the series Game of Thrones).
For nature lovers, there is a 1,500-year-old Olive tree called Mastrinka that you can visit in Kastela.
