How to get to Paklenica?
Starigrad is a small town located in North Dalmatia, known for its proximity to Paklenica National Park and its beautiful natural surroundings.
The easiest way to reach Starigrad is by highway A1 (Zagreb – Dubrovnik) and taking exit Maslenica. You can also arrive by plane to Zadar airport and then take a car to Starigrad Paklenica which is approximately a 40-minute drive.

Paklenica National Park
This is the main attraction in the area, known for its stunning karst landscape, deep canyons, and diverse flora and fauna. Hiking and rock climbing are popular activities here, and there are numerous well-marked trails to explore, including the famous Velika Paklenica Canyon.

Weather in Starigrad Paklenica
Starigrad has a Mediterranean climate with warm dry summers and calm mild winters. In summer there is almost no rain. However, in autumn, winter, and spring it rains more regularly. July and August are the hottest months, with an average high temperature of around 30 degrees Celsius.
