Zadar is one of the most beautiful towns in Dalmatia with many attractions, restaurants, and luxury villas, surrounded by natural beauties. If you're looking for a place for a luxury vacation, this guide will show you why Zadar is one of the top choices.
Zadar Attractions
If you visit Zadar, you must experience two things: Zadar's Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun.
The Sea Organ in Zadar
This is a unique architectural monument and experimental musical instrument in Zadar. It is located next to the sea and it looks like a series of steps with tubes inside which enable the waves to play the music. Therefore, the music is never the same and it is awesome to hear.

We recommend you sit on the stairs, listen to wonderful sea music, gaze at the sea and just chill.
The Greeting to the Sun
Greeting to the Sun is situated near the Sea Organ.
Zadar’s Greeting to the Sun
This monument is designed with glass plates with photo-voltage solar modules that collect solar energy and light the sky at night time in different ways so we recommend you to visit it in the evening.
Church of St. Donatus
For those who love the past, we can recommend the Church of St. Donatus, a pre-Romanesque church with a bell tower and one of the most important monuments in Croatia.

Where to Go Swimming in Zadar
After a good lunch, get ready to chill at local beaches: Kolovare Beach, Borik Beach, Puntamika, or Diklo Beach. Most of the Zadar beaches are pebble beaches with a great choice of fun beach activities.
Kolovare Beach
Kolovare beach is partly sandy and partly made of gravel. There are plenty of beach bars there for entertainment. You can also rent beach chairs there. Furthermore, there is plenty of parking space near the beach. For all these reasons, Kolovare is the most popular beach in Zadar.
Borik Beach
Borik Beach is also partly sandy and partly made of gravel. There you can rent pedal boats, surfboards, and other fun equipment for water sports. Aquapark is also there.
Zadar Borik Beach
Hotel guests occupy this beach mostly, but it is open to the public, too.
Puntamika Beach
The pebble Puntamika Beach is ideal for families with smaller children. You can rent parasols there and there is a kids' playground as well. Adults can sit at the bar with Zadar views, sip drinks, and watch their kids play. Sounds perfect, doesn't it?
Diklo Beach
Diklo Beach is our final recommendation for Zadar. It is situated a couple of kilometers from Borik. This partly pebble, partly rocky beach has occasional concrete platforms for sunbathing.
How to Get to Zadar
You can take numerous flights to Zadar airport. Just check Ryanair, Easyjet, or other airlines for your dates. From the airport, we recommend you take a shuttle to Zadar downtown. Renting a car is also an option but with limited car parking possibilities perhaps it is best to use Uber or similar companies' services for transport in Zadar. Our agency can also help you with transfers to Zadar.
Private Luxury Transfer Service
On the other hand, if you plan to arrive at Zadar by car it is quite easy as Zadar is situated on Croatian highway A1 (European highway E65).

Restaurant Kastel in Zadar
Our recommendation for fine dining is the Restaurant Kastel of the Hotel Bastion, one of the few Relais Chateaux hotels in Croatia. We recommend it for the food, but also for the setting and the sea view.
