Beaches on Makarska Riviera

Makarska is known for its lovely pebble beaches. Actually, you can find them everywhere at the Makarska Riviera. Some of the most popular are in Brela (Punta Rata beach), Baska Voda, and Tucepi. There is even an FKK beach called Nugal. It is between Tucepi and Makarska and it is only reachable on foot.

Nevertheless, we feel we should warn you to go early in the morning due to the crowds. At noon it is not crowded but the sun is too hot there during the summer months. Furthermore, the road there is a mountain road and it is difficult to pass.

Boat Day Tours From Makarska

From Makarska, you can also take a private boat trou or excursion boat to the islands of Brac, Korcula, and Hvar. There is also a ferry connection to Hvar from Drvenik on the Makarska Riviera (if you wish to explore it on your own).

We recommend you to stay at least 3 - 4 hours to explore the park. It is so beautiful. On your way back you can visit Sibenik or Primosten for a meal.
