How to Get to Korcula Island
Korcula island is very well connected with the mainland, so you can reach it with ease.
The main gateway to Korcula is through town of Orebic on Peljesac peninsula.
If you are traveling by car, you can drive to Orebic to get on the ferry. In just a 20-minute crossing you will be on the island of Korcula, Port Domince. The ferry operates 14 times a day in low season and 18 times a day in high season.
Besides getting on this ferry, you can also take passenger only ferry from Dubrovnik.
Next, the town of Vela Luka has two ferry and one catamaran lines with city of Split all year round.
Korcula also has boat connections with the islands of Lastovo, Mljet, Sipan, Hvar and Brac.
If you are flying from abroad, the best options are to choose Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) or Split Airport (SPU). At both airports you can take over car rental and get on the car ferry in Orebic or in Split.
Finally, there is an option of taking private driver or private speedboat service. Private speedboat transfers is the fastest option to reach Korcula from Split Airport.
