Later we recommend having lunch or an early dinner break in Skradin or Primošten. The best restaurant in Šibenik is Pelegrini – a 1-star Michelin restaurant. We also recommend Zlatna Ribica in Brodarica, close to Šibenik and their fish and meat specialties. Konoba Vinko in Konjevrate near national park Lozovac that serves traditional meals, famous for a grilled lamb.

5. Quad tours

Quad tours is an offroad adventure tour on Ciovo island. Before the tour, you sign the contract and then have a half-hour security training in Zedno village on Ciovo island. This way you can explore the whole Zedno area plus other villages on the island.

The first stopwould be on the most eastern point of the island, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view. The tour guide would explain the details about the island, customs, nature, and other curiosities.

After that, the second stop would be at Gospa od Prizidnice, a small church located on the south side of the Ciovo island.

It is a peaceful place that offers magnificent views and nice architecture.

The tour guide would explain the history of this place. The tour finishes by going to a base in Zedno.

A quad tour with swimming also includes swimming on the Orlice beach on the southern side of the Ciovo island.

The swimming lasts approximately 20 - 30 minutes, depending on the group and the preferences.

For the quad tour, you need to havesports clothes, sneakers, sunglasses, SPF, and water. You would get a helmet for protection.

The tour does not include the transfer from the villa to Zedno village.

The Blue Cave is a natural phenomenon where the lights, sea, and special cave shapes altogether create hundreds of shades of blue inside the cave. It is a very popular spot with visitors and to get there on time and before the crowds, we always suggest having an earlier departure.

After Blue Cave and exploring Vis Island you can also visit the Pakleni Islands Archipelago and Hvar town.

Andrenaline tour

9. White Water Rafting Cetina River

White water rafting in Croatia brings you an adrenaline rush and lots of fun! If you want to be active on holidays - experience white water rafting on Cetina River, near Omiš town in Central Dalmatia.

This activity tour has can be booked in a morning or an afternoon tour. It lasts 4-6 hours. The meeting point is in Omis.

The descent down the river is not extreme, but it is enough to experience a bit of adrenaline mixed with fresh air as you enjoy the rich river wildlife and magnificent nature. It is a fun and thrilling way to get to know the Croatian natural wealth. If you are brave, you can jump off a cliff.

There are few stops to swim, which is great for refreshing on hot days in Dalmatia.

The descent starts every day at 9:00 and 14:00 from the small village Penšići in rafts for 6 or 8 persons. Every raft is guided by a professional guide skipper. The 8 kilometers long descent lasts for about 3 hours and ends in the Radman’s Mills.

10. Canyoning

Canyoning includes outdoor activities such as walking, scrambling, swimming, climbing, jumping, and abseiling. This is one of the best adrenaline tours we can recommend in this area. The start is in Zadvarje, located between Omis and Makarska. Beginners can test their skills in basic canyoning. People of good physical health and in shape can try extreme canyoning.

You will get a neoprene suit and a helmet, you just need to bring your sneakers, a swimsuit, and sun protection factor.

Advice: the best time is to go after the rain because the river rapids are full of water and the experience of descending downstream is better.

11. Vepric near Makarska – „the Croatian Lourdes“

If you are a Christian and you want to visit a sanctuary during your holiday, the wonderful Vepric near Makarska is the nearest to Trogir. It is a Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes. In this positive energy-filled place you will find your soul food.

The masses are held several times a day in an open space, on the altar excavated in the rocks.

These feast days are particularly celebrated: Our Lady of Lourdes (11 February), the Annunciation (25 March), and the Nativity of Mary (8 September) a big annual feast that brings together several thousand pilgrims.

15. Sunbathing around Trogir

Those who prefer lounging instead of wandering around and exploring can visit one of the numerous beaches on Ciovo island near Trogir.

Orlice beach is located on the southern side, its location is here. On the south side of the island, you will see corners where few set. Here you will find deserted island streets, overgrown vegetation, pristine beaches, and a crystal clear sea.
