What to do in Dubrovnik
Sightseeing
As it was added to UNESCO list of World Heritage sites, you will not be surprised that it has a lot of historic sights to visit during your stay. One of the most famous ones is Stradun, located in the Old Town Dubrovnik, most of the sights are there. Another is to walk along the city walls surrounding the city. Beaches
Just like a lot of cities, there are a lot of beaches in Dubrovnik, but we will write about the most famous ones. It would be a shame to stay in or near Dubrovnik and not visit them.
Beach Banje

Located on the eastern entrance of Dubrovnik old Town, the beach offers you an amazing sight of the Old Town. You can find a restaurant, coffee bar, jet skies, parasols and speed boats for rent there and lots more. At night, the beach transforms into a nightclub, where you can dance until morning. It is no surprise that this beach is one of the more popular ones.
Beach Sveti Jakov

Another known beach is Sveti Jakov. Located in the eastern part of Dubrovnik, it also offers you a view of Dubrovnik old Town and the island Lokrum. The lovely pebble beach offers a restaurant and beach bar, a parasol, sea kayak and jet-ski rental place, beach volleyball court and lots more.

Looking for a place to go snorkelling, there are several options you can visit, such as: Buža, Danče, Gorica, Lapad/Petka and Lokrum. Of the listed places, the closest one to Old Town is Buža.

Day Trips

Dubrovnik Summer Festival
This is an annual Summer festival held on more than 70 open air venues in the city Dubrovnik. It lasts from 10th July till 25th August. The program consist of a Drama programme, Music programme, Opera programme, Ballet programme and Exhibitions.
