Umag town museum is in the Bishop's tower which was once a fortress against the sea attacks. There you will find different exhibitions from ancient times: from coins to various amphoras and stone monuments from the Umag area.

We also recommend you visit the Church of St. Roche near the main square in the Old Town. It was built in the 16th century after the plagues and it's interesting because of the oil-painted artwork on the ceiling.

How to Get to Umag
As we already mentioned Umag is the first destination you reach from Western Europe. Thus, it has great traffic connections.
There are 2 airports in the vicinity, one in Croatia in Pula and the other is in Italy in Trieste which is approximately 50km away from Umag.
